Photos from the first training session of a new U21s campaign
England Under-21s met up on Monday for the first time ahead of a brand new qualifying campaign with Israel 2013 their aim.
On Thursday night they take on Azerbaijan at Watford then travel to Barnsley to play Finals hosts Israel in a friendly on Monday.
It was a new-look squad with ten fresh faces to Stuart Pearce's set-up, while six of the 23 were part of the Under-21s squad at the European Championship in Denmark during the summer.
Pearce had seen the withdrawal of four players from the squad named last week as Danny Welbeck, Martin Kelly and Emmanuel Frimpong didn't report due to injury, while Phil Jones was on his way to meet up with the senior squad for the Euro 2012 Qualifying double-header with Bulgaria and Wales.
