Stadion Euroborg, FC Groningen Stuart Pearce will take his Under-21 side to play their first international friendly match of next season against the Netherlands in August this year.
The fixture will be the first game for the Young Lions after returning from June’s European Under-21 Championship in Sweden.
The friendly match will also mark the start of England’s preparations for their Euro 2011 qualifying campaign in which England have been drawn out against Portugal, Greece, Macedonia and Lithuania in Qualifying Group 9 for the Championship Finals.
The game will be played in the north of the country at the Stadion Euroborg in Groningen, which is the home of FC Groningen and has a capacity of 22,000 spectators.
This summer's UEFA European Under-21 Championship sees England face Finland, Spain and Germany in the group stage and they will play their first match against Finland in Halmstad on 15 June.
