Noel Blake's side start their season with draw in Holland.
England's U19 side got their campaign underway on Thursday night with a well-earned 0-0 draw against Holland in the Netherlands.
The Young Lions enjoyed the better of the first half, enjoying good possession and coming closest to opening the scoring when Harry Kane saw a shot come back off the post.
As expected, Holland came out for the second-half with more purpose and put in an improved performance, but England held firm to finish the game strongly and more than deserving of the draw.
Head Coach Noel Blake had a good chance to look at some of the players he will be considering for next year's European U19 Championship Elite Qualifying Round and also a four-team tournament in France later this year of which details will be released soon.
As a result, he made a number of substitutions in the second-half and shuffled his pack, whilst the game saw several players making their bow at U19 level such as Nat Chalobah and Chuks Aneka whilst there were England debuts for Bolton Wanderers striker Jack Sampson, Manchester United winger Larnell Cole and Middlesbrough defender Adam Reach.
