With England U19s looking forward to their first friendly of 2007, a number of the players who will be lining up against Poland at Bournemouth have been in FA Cup action.
Middlesbrough defender Seb Hines grabbed a goal on his debut for the Teesside club at home to Hull on Tuesday evening. The composed and versatile Hines opened the scoring in a thrilling Cup tie at the Riverside that Boro emerged victorious 4-3.
Wolverhampton Wanderers pair Mark Little and Mark Davies were in action at Boundary Park on Tuesday evening as Mick McCarthy's side set up a derby with West Bromwich Albion in the Fourth Round.
Mark Little played the full 90 minutes at right back, his 21st appearance for Wolves this season, while Mark Davies came off the bench after an hour to replace Michael McIndoe during the 2-0 win over Oldham.
Fabrice Muamba also played for Steve Bruce's Birmingham City on Wednesday evening in an incredible match at St. James' Park. The Championship leaders completely upset the odds with a 5-1 victory over Newcastle United and Muamba, on loan from Arsenal, played his part in the victory from midfield.
18-year-old striker Danny Haynes lined up in attack for Ipswich Town as they overcame Chester City on Tuesday evening to sercure their passage to the Fourth Round and a home tie with Swansea City.
Michael Johnson was an unused substitute during Manchester City's win over Sheffield Wednesday, while Giles Barnes was also involved for Derby County during their victory over Wrexham at Pride Park ten days ago. The powerful midfielder came on to replace Morten Bisgaard in the second half.
