Promising Arsenal striker Theo Walcott has been named in a strong squad for an England Under-19s international match later this month.
The Under-19s will take on Slovakia in a friendly at Northampton's Sixfields Stadium on Tuesday 28 February. Kick-off is at 7.00pm and you can get your tickets by clicking here.
Highly-rated 16-year-old forward Walcott joined Arsenal from Southampton in January and scored on his first appearance for the Gunners when he netted in a reserve match against Portsmouth on Tuesday night.
It's Walcott's first call-up for the Under-19s though he has appeared 14 times for the Under-17s team, scoring five goals.
There is plenty of other Premier League experience in the squad with Middlesbrough pair Adam Johnson and David Wheater among those to have featured in the top flight this season.
England Under-19s Coach Martin Hunter said: "I am looking forward to a very important game for us, as it is our last chance to get everyone together before the European Championship Qualifiers get underway in May.
"I am hoping that the fans will see an attacking game of football. With a great deal of technical ability on display, it is sure to be an exciting match.
"I have very fond memories of Northampton's Sixfields Stadium from when I coached the Under-18s to victory there two years ago.
It was a fantastic strike from James Morrison that settled it on that night and hopefully this game will give me more happy memories of the ground.
"There are several players in the squad who are getting experience at senior level for their clubs and that can only be good news for us."
The international friendly match at Sixfields is a crucial part of the Under-19s’ preparations for their bid to reach the 2006 European Under-19 Championship.
England have been drawn alongside Belgium, Serbia & Montenegro and Northern Ireland in the Elite Qualifying Round for the competition. Matches will take place in Belgium between 18 and 22 May.
The UEFA European Under-19 Championship will be held in Poland in July. England’s Under-19s qualified for last year’s Championship in Northern Ireland, reaching the Final where they were beaten by France.
