England U18s are in action for the final time this season when they travel to Italy next month for a development match against the Azzurini.
Head Coach Noel Blake has picked an 18-man group for the trip, with this team being used this season to bridge the gap between the U17 and U19 squads which engage in UEFA competitions.
Five of the players selected were part of the U17s European Championship success in Liechtenstein last summer and a number of the squad have had experience at U16, U17, U18 and U19 level already.
However, there are first time England call-ups for Sheffield United's George Long and Plymouth Argyle's Curtis Nelson, whilst Nottingham Forest defender Jamaal Lascelles was only picked for the first time last weekend when he was called into the U19 squad for their game with Holland.
There has been one U18 game this season, when the Young Lions hosted Poland in Wycombe and put in an impressive performance to win 3-0 last November.
