Herman Sorby Stengel penalty cancels out Mason Bennett opener.
England were held to 1-1 draw by Norway in their second match of the Nordic Tournament.
Mason Bennett had fired England ahead on 38 minutes, but a Herman Sorby Stengel penalty on 67 minutes levelled matters for the Scandinavians. England came out on top 7-6 on penalties, but the shoot-out will only count towards separating two teams level on points at the end of the group stage.
Head Coach Kenny Swain made seven changes to the starting eleven that helped guide the Young Lions to a 4-0 defeat of Faroe Islands just 24 hours earlier, with only captain Shay Facey, Alastair Gordon, Lewis Baker and Chuba Akpom retaining their place.
With one more group match still to come on Friday, against the host nation Iceland, Swain still took the opportunity to make five substitutions, though, unfortunately for England, the changes failed to bring about a winner inside 80 minutes.
