Kenny Swain selects 18-man group for trip to Faroe Islands

The Nordic Tournament
6-11 August 2012
Faroe Islands

England U16 Head Coach Kenny Swain has selected his 18-man squad for this summer's Nordic Tournament in the Faroe Islands.

Whilst the Tournament is technically classed as an U17 competition, Swain always takes charge for this annual trip and uses players from last season's U16s group and uncapped players as a final preparation for the forthcoming campaign at U17 level.

England have been drawn out in Group A alongside Faroe Islands, Finland and Norway. Their first match on 6 August is against Faroe Islands, followed a day later with Finland. The final group match takes place on 9 August against Norway.

There will be a further game on 11 August against one of the teams from Group B, which consists of Denmark, Iceland, Sweden and Faroe Islands U19s' side, who replace Scotland in the competition.
