England U17s Head Coach John Peacock has picked his squad for the Elite Qualifying Round games in Georgia later this month, as the Young Lions set their sights on May's Euro Finals in Slovenia.
Peacock's side face opposition from host nation Georgia, Ukraine and Spain over the course of five days, with only one team able to progress to the Finals, which will consist of eight nations.
After finishing top of their group in the First Qualifying Round last October and then winning the annual Algarve Tournament in February, confidence will be high in the camp and Peacock admitted that he had a touch choice to make with regards to his squad for the trip east.
There is a return to the squad for Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom and midfielder Jack Jebb following his injury, whilst Sheffield United 'keeper George Willis is involved again along with Southampton's Luke Shaw, who had to withdraw from the Algarve squad following a knock.
"It's a hard job to pick 18 players for the squad, but that's the sort of problem that I want to have," said Peacock.
"We've got a real depth in this age group and that's something which we'd like to have in all the year groups.
"We know that the original squad picked isn't always the one which eventually travels for various reasons so that depth is important and the door is never closed on any players."
England's first game of the Elite Round is against Ukraine on Monday 26 March, before they play Georgia two days later. The games are rounded off when Spain are the opponents on Saturday 31 March.
