England U17s Head Coach John Peacock has selected his squad for the UEFA Elite Qualifying Round later this month, as the Young Lions look to defend their title as European Champions.
The team face opposition from group hosts Belgium, Northern Ireland and last season's fellow finalists Spain in this round and with only one team able to progress from that group of four into the Finals, it is sure to be competitive over the five days of action.
Peacock, who will be assisted by former Preston North End and Sheffield Wednesday manager Alan Irvine, has included plenty of experience in his 18-man squad, with every player having been capped at U17 level this season apart from Liverpool defender Brad Smith, who receives his first call-up.
Meanwhile, Chelsea defender Nat Chalobah was part of last season's U17 team which beat Spain in the Final to lift the European title in Liechtenstein.
England's first match is against Northern Ireland in Geel on Saturday 26 March and they face Belgium two days later at the same venue before the final game sees them take on Spain in Mol on Wednesday 31 March.
The team who finishes top of the group will take their place in the last eight for the Finals, which are being held in Serbia in early May.
