The Young Lions will meet France, Russia and Israel in the Elite Round after the draw was made in Cannes.
UEFA U17 Elite Round Qualifying
Group 3
25, 27 & 30 October 2008
Israel
England face a tricky route to the European Championships after drawing Israel, France and Russia in the Elite Round Qualifying.
The Young Lions finished top of their group in October's Qualifiers in Estonia which earned them a place in the Elite Round.
After hitting six goals against Malta and the hosts respectively - Aston Villa's Nathan Delfouneso led the way with four goals in those two games - England faced Portugal to decide who would top Group 11.
England had chances, the best of them falling to Delfouneso, but had to settle for a 0-0 draw - enough to guarantee top spot. Should they finish at the summit in the Elite Round then England will travel to the Finals in Turkey.
But England will need to be at their best next spring, starting on 25 March when they face France.
John Peacock's side will then meet Russia two days later before concluding their trip with a match against hosts Israel on 30 March.
