Squads show solidarity for Japan in Montaigu.
England's U16 squad put their rest day in the Montaigu Tournament to good use on Friday, as they paid honour to Japan following the recent earthquake and Tsunami disaster in the far eastern country.
With the Japanese team also taking part in the competition in western France, albeit in a different group to England, the squads from all eight nations showed solidarity with their opponents in the annual parading of the teams and national anthems in the town of Montaigu.
Kenny Swain's side have made a good start to the Tournament, beating Uruguay and United Arab Emirates in their first two games this week, before they play their final group match against Guinea on Saturday knowing that a draw in that game will be good enough to take them into the Final on Monday.
Japan are in the second group, along with France, Portugal and USA, where they have lost both of their games against Portugal and France so far.
