Live on Sky Sports Kenny Swain has named his 18-man squad to take on Northern Ireland in their second match of The Victory Shield.
Eight players retain their place in the squad from last month’s defeat to Wales, while Sheffield United goalkeeper George Willis, who played for the U16s last season, also earns a recall.
The other nine players are all receiving their maiden call-up, including Devante Cole, son of former the Manchester United, Manchester City and England striker Andy.
“We’ve got a very deep pool of talent in this age group,” explained Swain, “and it is important that we look at as many players as we can during this competition.
“The boys who are coming back for the second game will no doubt want to make amends for the Wales game but it’s also an opportunity for the new players to get their first taste of international football.”
