England’s Victory Shield encounter with Northern Ireland has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The match was due to take place at The Oval, home of Glentoran FC, but after a 4pm inspection by the match referee, Stephen Weatherall, the pitch was deemed unfit for play.

The fixture has been rearranged for Thursday 9 December 2010 at a venue to be confirmed. Kick-off remains at 19.35.
