England will face Germany in February in preparation for April's Montaigu tournament.

After winning the Victory Shield at Sincil Bank at the end of November, England U16 Head Coach, Kenny Swain, is keen to test his Young Lions against a team from outside the Home Nations.

In February next year, his side will travel to Hoffenheim to take on Germany in preparation for the Montaigu tournament which will commence at the beginning of April.

It will give Swain's players the opportunity to experience playing overseas against a team with a different style of play - something they will have to come to terms with during the Montaigu tournament.

They will travel to the 26,000-capacity Carl-Benz-Stadion having triumphed in the Victory Shield with wins over Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland and will aim to keep their winning run going against Germany on 17 February.
