  • England 10-0 Australia

Resounding win over Aussies in World Championship.

Michael Barker scored yet another hat-trick as England CP set up a World Cup play-off against the Republic of Ireland after a one sided demolition of Australia.

The 10-0 win was arguably England's best performance of the World Cup in the Netherlands and was the second time that Lyndon Lynch's team had hit double figures at the tournament having beaten South Korea 12-0 in the group stage.

Barker was joined on the hat-trick list by Matt Dimbylow with 16-year-old Emyle Rudder helping to tee up the goals as England overcame the 38 degree temperatures with relative ease.

Rudder also found the net, his first of the tournament, while Sinclair, Townshend and Leclerc completed the rout.

England now go through to play the Republic of Ireland on Thursday evening for ninth place.
