England start with a win

England Women's U19s beat Hungary 4-0 in their opening Euro qualifier.

Leicester City midfielder Remi Allen opened the scoring after just 14 minutes to cement England's early dominance, and on the half hour mark the advantage was doubled with a fine effort from Issy Christiansen.

Having scored at last year's World Cup in New Zealand, Christiansen continued her strong scoring record with a brace against Hungary - the second of which coming 21 minutes into the second period.

Arsenal defender Gilly Flaherty made the game secure with 17 minutes remaining and now England look forward to Spain on Saturday. Their opponents opened their account with a 2-0 victory over Finland.
