As England Women's U17s prepare for a World Cup Semi-Final against North Korea, Isobel Christiansen believes that if they perform as they did against Japan then on Friday they will be readying themselves for a World Cup Final.
The Everton midfielder scored an incredible goal from 40 yards in the final minute of injury time to level the scores against Japan and set England on course for their penalty shootout victory.
Despite being under pressure to deliver from 12 yards Christiansen has simple advice on spot-kicks.
"Just hit the target," she advised. "And hit the corner."
Christiansen admitted to FIFA.com that she had "no idea" how she managed to score that amazing goal that kept England alive in the World Cup, but recalls that there was no fear in taking on the only side with a 100% record in the competition.
She said: "We'd done a lot of research and we weren't scared of them because we could see they had weaknesses. Because they'd been so dominant in games, we saw they hadn't really been tested defensively and felt we could hurt them going forward."
When asked about North Korea Christiansen added: "They'll be great, I'm sure, but if we play like we did against Japan, we'll be in the final."
As with every member of the squad out in New Zealand, Lucy Bronze was an equally important element in England's success as her defensive discipline helped to quell the threat from a Japanese side that had scored 17 goals in three group matches prior to the quarter-final.
"It was all down to the coaching really," she said. "I knew [Iwabuchi] was outstanding but I'd been shown inside-out how she plays, so I knew exactly how to approach the job. Really, I think the key for us is that we always stick together, no matter what."
