Peter Taylor's side will be unseeded for the draw in Geneva, headquarters of UEFA, at 12noon BST (1pm local time), which means they will face one of the top seven ranked countries at Under-21 level who are still in the competition, according to UEFA's co-efficient.

With Holland, current holders of the title, having already qualified as UEFA European U21 Championship Finals hosts, there are seven more spots available. The 14 qualifying group winners will be drawn into seven two-legged play-off games, which will take place on 6/7 and 10/11 October.

So, who could we face? The top seven sides, one of whom will be paired with England, are: Portugal, Italy, Belgium, France, Germany, Serbia and Czech Republic.

The other six unseeded nations in the same side of the draw as England are: Spain, Russia, Sweden, Israel, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Bulgaria.

The draw will also decide which team plays at home in the first-leg.
