England’s stars of the future will descend on The Valley early in the New Year looking to build on their most recent 1-0 victory over Holland in Huddersfield last month.

The squad will be looking for another strong performance at Charlton in preparation for the Under-20 Toulon Tournament, which takes place in France in June 2005.

England’s Director of Football Development, Sir Trevor Brooking said: "The Valley is a fantastic stadium and I am sure that the Under-20s team will enjoy playing there in what should be a great match against a strong Russian side. Charlton Athletic Football Club have always given England sides a warm welcome and I hope the Addicks’ fans will turn out and make this a fixture to remember."

Charlton Athletic chief executive, Peter Varney, added: "It’s fantastic that the Football Association has chosen Charlton Athletic to hold this International fixture and we’re hoping for a big crowd at The Valley to cheer on the lads to victory.

"We hope that Stacy Long and Osei Sankofa will both feature and it will be an opportunity for them to play at The Valley for England and for our supporters to come along and support them."

Tickets will go on sale shortly and fans should log onto TheFA.com and www.cafc.co.uk for further information. Tickets will be priced at £3 for adults in advance (£5 on day of game) and £1 for children (U16) and OAPs.
