Four changes for U19s
Sunday, 02 October 2005.
There have been four changes made to Martin Hunter's England U19s squad ahead of the forthcoming UEFA Friendly Tournament in Poland.
Gavin Rothery of Leeds United comes in for experienced West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble whilst Rothery's Elland Road team-mate Simon Walton joins up in place of Leicester City's Richard Stearman.
Blackburn Rovers striker Joe Garner, who enjoyed a good season with the U17s last season, has been called-up to replace Manchester United's Fraizer Campbell and finally Middlesbrough 'keeper David Knight comes in for Ben Alnwick of Sunderland.
England take on the Czech Republic and the Poland 'A' and 'B' teams in three matches in five days which will act as important preparation for the UEFA European U19 Championship qualifiers later this season.
