With his side sitting at the top of Group A, Peacock told TheFA.com: "Well all in all I am obviously very pleased with the result.

"It is never easy to score four goals in any match and although we always believe we can score goals, it was nice to see the lads do so well in the final third," he said.

"Another positive was the clean sheet. We made sure that the Belarussians didn't see much of the ball and I was pleased to see the defenders keeping concentration right to the end of the match.

"I though Lewis McGugan was excellent in midfield and Myles [Weston] was superb on the left so it was a good start."

However Peacock warned against any over-confidence or complacency: "The next game against Turkey is going to be very difficult.

"We respect them as opponents and know that we are going to have to be at our best if we are to come out of that game with a result."

TheFA.com will have all the latest news from inside the England camp throughout the European U17 Championship.
