England's Under 16s kicked off their Ballymena Tournament with a 1-2 defeat at the hands of Israel with all goals coming in the first 25 minutes.

Israel opened the scoring after only two minutes through Oren Ido before Tomer Heued added a second 20 minutes later.

Charlton Athletic youngster Myles Weston pulled one back on 25 minutes but it was not enough for John McDermott's young side.

Next up is the Czech Republic at Belfast's Newforge Country Club this evening, 6pm kick off.
