Glen was one of the first purchases of the new Abramovich era at Stamford Bridge, and he certainly repaid Claudio Ranieri’s faith in him. Following a number of impressive performances for Chelsea he earned his first England call-up to face Denmark in November’s friendly at Old Trafford.
In 2005, Glen was a member of Jose Mourinho's Chelsea team which won the Premiership title and that was shortly followed by his first England start, away to USA in Chicago.
Glen is probably best known for his ability to get forward and add another attacking dimension. |
