VIDEO: John Terry pre-Israel
The England captain talks to the media ahead of England's crucial Euro 2008 Qualifier with Israel.

England captain John Terry is adamant that the Three Lions must win their game against Israel on Saturday in order to boost their hopes of qualification for Euro 2008.

Terry insists the whole squad is determined to put the heartbreak of defeat against Croatia in their last group game behind them, and only three points will do the trick.

He said: "A lot of people are saying that a draw is a good result, but I don't think we can afford to draw, we have to win.

"We're desperate to improve on the performance against Croatia and get ourselves up the table.

"Our shape might be different for this game, but as a group we're looking to get a result and all the players are taking it upon their own shoulders to do that.

"We've all shown what we can do in the Premiership and the Champions League this season. Things didn't go well in Croatia, but we realise that."

However, Terry has warned that Israel will be desperate to maintain their fantastic home record, and England will have to be at their best on the night.

He added: "Israel are very dangerous and it is a tough place to go to. But we are just as much of a threat to them as they are to us."
