There are just days to go until England are in action again on home soil and tickets are selling fast.

Of the three internationals next week, the first of the new year, the U19s' encounter with Poland at Bournemouth next Tuesday has already sold out while fans are snapping up tickets for the U21s and Seniors games against Spain at Pride Park and Old Trafford respectively.

For the U21s, Tuesday marks the first of two warm-up games ahead of this summer's European Championship in Holland. Derby has been a happy hunting ground for the U21s over the years, playing host to most of the biggest crowds at this level with another packed house expected next week.

England will be full of confidence after an unbeaten 2006, finishing with four straight wins against Switzerland, Germany (twice) and Holland.

Then at Old Trafford next Wednesday evening Steve McClaren's England are in action as they prepare for the upcoming Euro 2008 qualifiers with Israel and Andorra.

The friendly will kick off at 8pm and will be Spain's first visit to England since February 2001 when the Three Lions ran out comfortable 3-0 winners at Villa Park. It will be the 21st senior encounter between the two nations since their first meeting in May 1929 when Spain were victorious 4-3 in Madrid. England, though, edge the battle with eleven victories to Spain's six.
