All eyes will be on England's clash with Croatia tonight after the media swarmed on the Maksimir Stadium in their numbers.

More than 500 media personnel from both television and the written press will be in attendance in Zagreb - more evidence that England are a main attraction.

A total of 208 journalists will be scribbling away once the game kicks off, 91 of which will be writing for English newspapers.

Eighty-one photographers will be snapping frantically, 30 of whom will be hoping for a shot of Wayne Rooney scoring the winning goal which will appear in English newspapers tomorrow morning.

Four TV broadcasters will be beaming the action back to 32 different countries while 25 radio stations will deliver live commentary.

"It just shows the level of interest surrounding the England team," said FA Director of Communications Adrian Bevington. "It's incredible."
