Steve McClaren is set to take in another six club matches over the next week as he continues to cast his eye over a number of English players who have been performing well domestically this season.

Starting on Saturday the England Head Coach will visit Bramall Lane to watch Sheffield United take on Chelsea in the early kick off, then later that day McClaren will travel to the North East to see Newcastle United play Charlton Athletic.

On Monday McClaren will be in Manchester to see the visit of his former club Middlesbrough as they take on Stuart Pearce's side at the City of Manchester Stadium.

The next evening he will be in Spain as Chelsea bid for another victory over Barcelona in the Nou Camp as the Champions League group stage resumes once more. McClaren is set to take in a further European clash, this time in the capital, as Tottenham Hotspur take on Brugge at White Hart Lane.

The England Head Coach completes his week at Old Trafford as Portsmouth look to continue their fine early season form when they take on the Premiership leaders Manchester United.
