VIDEO: Paul Mariner v Norway
Watch Paul Mariner's sublime goal against Norway - a fitting way to round off a 4-0 win.

To get you in the mood for England's friendly with Greece, we have trawled The FA video archives to bring you some of our favourite goals.

Today we bring you Paul Mariner's stunning effort against Norway from the two sides' World Cup qualifier on 10 September 1980, arguably the best of his 13 goals for England.

With England 3-0 up thanks to a brace from Terry McDermott and a strike from Tony Woodcock, England saved their best for last to bring the 48,200 crowd at Wembley to its feet.

After a patient build-up, Eric Gates' floated pass is chested down by Woodcock to Mariner, who then takes centre stage.

With men around him, Mariner rolls the ball under his studs, shifts it onto his left foot before unleashing an unstoppable drive.

The England starting line-up that day was: Shilton, Anderson, Sansom, Robson, Watson, Thompson, Gates, McDermott, Mariner, Woodcock, Rix.
