Joe Cole has won our online vote for England's Man of the Match versus Uruguay by a huge margin.

Over 10,000 fans voted in our poll during the four days following the Three Lions' 2-1 win at Anfield with nearly 70% choosing the Chelsea midfielder as their star man.

And who could argue? Cole provided the assist for Peter Crouch's 75th minute equaliser before scoring the winner deep into stoppage time and throughout the 90 minutes was a constant menace for England.
