England Head Coach Sven-Goran Eriksson has named his 23-man squad for Wednesday's friendly with Uruguay.

Sven has recalled Gary Neville after his return from injury alongside four other Manchester United players.

Liverpool trio Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher and Peter Crouch will be aiming to impress at their home ground.

Michael Owen, Ashley Cole, Sol Campbell, Jonathan Woodgate, Kieron Dyer, Alan Smith, Chris Kirkland and Owen Hargreaves all miss out due to injuries.

The match, which kicks-off at 8.05pm, is the first of three friendlies prior to the World Cup.

Sven will be at Anfield on Sunday to watch Liverpool take on Manchester City before meeting up with his coaching staff later in the day.
