Sven watched the team train and caught up with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho as well as meeting some of the club's England players after the session.

The visit also allowed Sven to talk to Hernan Crespo, who played for him at Lazio, and Chelsea goalkeeping coach Silvino Louro, goalkeeper during Sven's time in charge at Benfica.

Sven is set to name his squad for the two qualifiers against Austria and Poland on Sunday 2 October.
