Sven-Goran Eriksson has secured the services of one of Europe's top scouts as he gears up his preparations for EURO2004.
Roland Andersson, the man who prepared Sweden for their World Cup clash with England two years ago, has now joined England's ranks as we build towards Portugal this summer.
"I am delighted to have Roland with us for such a big tournament," Sven told us, breaking the news of the latest addition to his backroom team.
"We will be using both him and David Platt as scouts out in Portugal.
"Roland has a huge amount of experience as both a player and a coach. As a player he played international football for Sweden and as a coach he has won the Swedish League four times and worked abroad in Dubai.
"We don't even have to tell him so much about the England team as he already knows most things, having spied against us for Sweden in Japan!
"He has many good qualities and we know that he is someone we can trust and rely on. Tord [Grip] has always spoken to him about players and teams."
Roland has already begun his scouting work for Sven and travelled to Germany to watch Owen Hargreaves' Bayern Munich in action against Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend.
Here's a look at Roland's highly impressive CV:
