David Dunn is ready to grab his chance if Sven-Goran Eriksson gives him an England debut in Saturday's friendly against Portugal at Villa Park.

The 22-year-old Blackburn midfielder won an England call-up when Kieron Dyer was forced to pull out of Eriksson's squad.
Dunn, who was a regular at Under-21 level last season, reckons his improved fitness this season has helped him make the step up to the senior squad.
Dunn told Sky Sports News: "I didn't have a good second half to last season because of a couple of injuries. This season, the gaffer (Graeme Souness) said I needed to be a bit fitter and I've worked hard on my fitness.
"It's a dream come true for me to get a call-up. As a young lad I have a hell of a lot to learn and I've got time on my side but I'm confident in myself and it's good that it (the call-up) has come so soon."
The fact that Manchester United pair David Beckham and Paul Scholes and Newcastle's Dyer are missing from the squad may give Dunn a place in the England midfield on Saturday
"As a young lad you always dream of putting on the shirt for your country and this is a little chance for me to hopefully get a run out,'' he added.
"I'd prefer to play in the centre of midfield but beggars can't be choosers and I'd be happy to play wherever he (Eriksson) wants me to."
