The reaction from fans to England's stunning win against Argentina in Sapporo is already flooding into TheFA.com.
Here's some of the best:
"Congratulations to the boys - pleases tell Sven to get the team to play in red - it's our lucky colour !"
"I told you "we will win" and then we did it. Now on 12/06 with Nigeria I don't think we'll have any problem."
"Very well done to England...Well done Beckham,. Keep it up - your country LOVES YOU."
"CONGRATULATIONS England! A great win. From a rejoicing Scottish Fan."
And just to prove that you can't please everyone...
"After watching England pull off a breathtaking result against Argentina, may i just say that although I'm pleased with the result I am disappointed with the way England sat back 2nd half. They did the same against Sweaden & ended up drawing 1-1 in a game they should have won. This England side have no need to hang back, i feel their best defense is attack, if they continue with this "one goals enough" attitude then i dont think they'll be winning the world cup. Still, fanstastic result against the Argies!! Good luck I'll still be cheering you all the way."
We also asked fans what their abiding memory of the match would be:
"Beckham's face before the penalty and his reaction afterwards. Scholes' volley and the 17 passes that lead to Sheringham's volley.
"Amazing -all hail David Beckham. It's a dream come true. I can't hear a thing while I write this because the cheers are so loud
"The actual quality of the football England played and holding out against sustained pressure at the end. Now another crunch game against Nigeria!"
"Simeone's face at the end. Becks' celebrations"
"Oh my god. What a result. Last 20 minutes a tad nervous. Becks roaring at England fans is most memorable. Oh well, back to work now."
"Ferdinand meeting every cross perfectly -a rock. The foul against Owen and the penalty by Beckham"
"Scoring the penalty and the sound of the final whistle. The goal. What a game! we played so well."
