F.A. grateful to Manchester United for Beckham and Butt fitness help
The England World Cup squad flies out to Dubai on Monday boosted by the presence of skipper David Beckham and his club and international team-mate Nicky Butt.
The Football Association's Chief Executive, Adam Crozier today told TheFA.com that this would not have been possible without the help of Manchester United.
He explained: "The F.A. would like to make it clear that Manchester United have been working very closely with The Football Association to ensure the fitness of all the United players travelling with the England squad to Dubai on Monday.
"The Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been particularly helpful at all times. I would like to thank him personally for that.
"Everyone has been working in the best interests of David Beckham and all the Manchester United players."
