Peter Crouch and his England team-mates transferred from their Rustenburg base to Cape Town on Thursday, as they continue preparations for Friday’s Group C game with Algeria.

The Three Lions have been at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Campus since their arrival in South Africa just over two weeks ago and will now have a change of scenery for a few days which is something Crouch admits he is looking forward to.

"We've been here (in Rustenburg) the whole time and now we travel to Cape Town, so that's something we've been looking forward to,” he told FATV earlier in the week.

"We've seen the stadium on television and it looks fantastic. All of the pitches have been great too since we've been out here.”

The squad flew to Cape Town on Thursday morning and will train at the Green Point Stadium in the evening as Fabio Capello puts the finishing touches to his preparation.

"Travelling away will be a bit more exciting and something new,” added Crouch.

"We have to fly down there, which is something to adapt to, but we'll train there and get accustomed to the surroundings.”
