Fabio Capello has urged his England team to play without fear against Bulgaria on Friday night and recreate their World Cup Qualifying form.
The Three Lions qualified for the summer's World Cup in South Africa in rampant fashion, winning nine of their ten Group Six matches and Capello believes that his side can produce similar performances in the coming Euro 2012 Qaulifying campaign.
"We have to play without fear and I think the players are training very well, with confidence and I hope tomorrow we can see this during the game," he said.
"Bulgaria will not be an easy game, because they defend with nine players and one forward and they counter attack very fast and the quality of their players is good.
"We have to win and play well and I hope we show the fans and they will support us during the game.
"I am not concerned about the lack of experience at the back, but I know the players who will be playing tomorrow at centre back will be playing for the first time together. But I hope they will be focused on every moment of the game.
"The training was really good and things are getting better. We are training at Wembley because it's important to know the pitch to decide what kind of boots to choose tomorrow.
"It's important to get off to a winning start - it will be important for the spirit of the team and for the fans. But of course we have to play more than just this one game."
