Fabio Capello says he is happy with the win over Kazakhstan.
After watching his side cruise to a 4-0 victory over Kazakhstan England Manager, Fabio Capello, expressed his delight at gaining another three points on the road to next year's World Cup in South Africa.
Two goals in each half, courtesy of Gareth Barry, Emile Heskey, Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard, secured the win in Almaty and now leaves England with 18 points from six matches.
"I’m happy with the performance and the result," Capello admitted after the match.
"[Kazakhstan] started very strong[ly] in the first 20 minutes but, step-by-step we improved.
"This [win] was important," he continued, "because it was three points away [from home]. Now we have to win the next game to reach 21 points which will be a very good [total] before the last three games.
"[Qualification is] not assured but it’s another big step forward."
England's next match sees them entertain Andorra at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday evening.
