The England forward seeks another three points against Kazakhstan.

England forward Wayne Rooney is expecting another tough battle when The Three Lions face Kazakhstan on Saturday but is confident they can maintain a 100 per cent winning start to their World Cup qualifying campaign.

Rooney admits his team are brimming with confidence after winning their opening five games in Group 6, including a 5-1 victory over Kazakhstan last October.

England have already shown their quality on the road with impressive victories over Andorra, Croatia and Belarus and will be hoping for the same again when they play in Almaty on Saturday night.

Rooney said: "I think it will be a tough match. I know [Kazakhstan] work really hard and they put us under a lot of pressure when we have got the ball.

"We have just got to be patient, and it might not be in the first half when we win the game. Hopefully we can get a victory and move onto the game against Andorra.

"The main thing is that we go out there and do our job. We are prepared for them and will play the way we can do. I'm sure it will be okay.

"When we played them at Wembley it was a difficult game, they created a few chances and surprised us really. It's going to be difficult.

"Obviously, we expect to win but know it won't be as easy as people think. We need to be focused and do our job - which is [getting] three points."
