England Manager remains upbeat despite seeing his side slip to defeat against Brazil
England Manager, Fabio Capello refused to be downbeat after watching his side slip to a 1-0 defeat to Brazil in Qatar.
A second-half header from Nilmar gave Dunga's side victory and they did shade proceedings throughout, but forced into making a raft of changes due to injuries, Capello insisted England would perform better with their strongest eleven.
“Perhaps in the future it will be better for us," he said. "The first eleven of Brazil was really good but my first eleven could be better."
“We played against the best team in the world and Dunga’s best eleven, but we still created some chances.
"The second half we lost our position on the pitch a bit. The positives are that it was good to see some more players in a really important game and I understand their value more now, but I don’t like to talk about individuals.
“It is very difficult to play against Brazil because they defended very well and played very well. They are the best team we have played against; we have created chances against other teams when we lost but it was not so easy against Brazil.
