Steven Caulker wants to impress Roy Hodgson by snuffing out Lazio's Miroslav Klose
Tottenham’s Steven Caulker is hoping to further prove his England credentials with a star turn against Lazio in the Europa League on Thursday.
The defender recently made his senior team bow against Sweden and marked his debut with a goal.
And now he wants to impress national team boss Roy Hodgson by nullifying the threat of Lazio’s German goal machine Miroslav Klose.
Caulker said: "Every game in a Spurs shirt is a chance to prove myself at international level.
"Lazio have a German striker in Klose so I have a chance to prove myself again and get my place back in the England squad."
