Raheem Sterling made his England debut against Sweden in November and he made sure he had the perfect warm-up.

The young winger played a ball into goalkeeping coach Dave Watson, collected the return and curled a fine effort beyond John Ruddy.

I have no doubt Raheem Sterling will one day be a great footballer for this country, that is if he chooses to play for England, if we don't pin the nation's hopes on him. We have a rare opportunity in that we have many youngsters coming through who could all one day possibly, maybe, perhaps, with a lot of luck, just manage to have a hope of winning a major trophy.
