Daniel Sturridge looks set to play a key role in England teams for year to come. The young Chelsea striker came on to make his full international debut in the victory over Sweden in the 58th minute, replacing Arsenal winger Theo Walcott. Sturridge impressed as England went on to win the game 1-0.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a successful loan spell at Bolton at the end of the 2010-11 season, scoring eight goals in 12 appearances for the Trotters.
Sturridge has continued his great form this season and is now considered as one of the most promising strikers in the Premier League.
Sturridge will be hoping to force his way into Fabio Capello’s plans ahead of Euro 2012 and will be looking to establish himself as an England regular.
He should only get better given experience and he has the natural ability to become an England goalscoring legend.
