Qualifying fixtures arranged for 2014 campaign.

England's FIFA World Cup 2014 qualifying fixtures have today been finalised, following a meeting between all of the Group H member associations in Warsaw.

The Three Lions will begin their campaign in Moldova in September 2012, a repeat of the fixture which kicked-off England's qualifying campaign for the 1998 World Cup back in 1996 and a game which will be best remembered for the debut of David Beckham.

It will then be back to Wembley for the first home qualifier four days later, when Ukraine are the visitors.

There are no qualification games on the international dates in June 2013, and England close their campaign with home games against Montenegro and Poland in October 2013.

What Do You Think?

  • I fancy going to wembley for san marino game, guranteed to see goals on that night.By scan (5 months ago)
  • Dear FA, When you choose to have these matches on Friday evenings do you give any consideration to fans who have to travel a long way, or to kids who have to go to school on Friday afternoons? Weekend fixtures should always be on a Saturday, you are letting fans down and I'd love to know the reason why! By anonymous (5 months ago)
  • No Saturday games why oh why? Do they think we all live in London?By anonymous (5 months ago)
  • Why are the fixtures on Friday evenings, instead of Saturday afternoon/evening kick offs? It makes it difficult to go along and take my lad as he is in school!By Macman (5 months ago)
