England's players were back in training on Thursday morning.

England wasted no time in getting their preparations for the second round of the World Cup underway as they were back on the training pitch just hours after their 1-0 victory against Slovenia.

The squad returned to their base in Rustenburg from Port Elizabeth late on Wednesday evening following their final Group C match, and with a game against Germany to look forward to, Manager Fabio Capello had his players working again on Thursday morning.

Whilst the players who started the match against Slovenia were doing recovery work in the gym, for the substitutes and non-playing members of the squad, it was back out onto the training pitch.

Both Michael Carrick and Aaron Lennon joined Ledley King on the sidelines, but it is hoped they will be back in training on Friday as the Second Round game in Bloemfontein on Sunday afternoon draws ever nearer.

FATV were there as always, so watch a video of England in training now by clicking on the link to the right.

Also, as a bonus, why not check out FATV's footage of the squad being filmed and snapped by FIFA for their squad photographs for the tournament. That exclusive video is also available on the right.
