The 45,000-seater Free State Stadium was originally built in 1952 and rebuilt in 1995 for the Rugby Union World Cup.
It underwent further reconstruction in 2008 for the following year’s Confederations Cup which increased its capacity from 38,000 to its current level.
Home to Bloemfontein Celtic, the locals provide fanatical support and it is sure to generate excellent crowds for the five Group games and one Round of 16 fixture that it is due to host.
