There are no major surprises. Paul Scholes, Jonathan Woodgate and Darius Vassell miss out through injury. Chris Kirkland drops to the Under-21s where he looks set to play two full games so, with Richard Wright also injured, Leicester City's Ian Walker also returns having joined Sven's squad for the summer programme of matches.
