England's fans delight The FA with their behaviour at The Riverside...Meanwhile, a decision is due in the next day or so on tickets for Macedonia...

Speaking following England's 2-1 win over Slovakia at Middlesbrough, The FA's Director of Marketing and Communications, Paul Barber said: "We need to sit down over the next 48 hours and make a decision on tickets for Macedonia. We have to weigh up the positives of the last three games against the risks there would be taking probably less than 1,000 tickets for Macedonia.

"It would risk spoiling what has happened during the last three games. We hope to make a decision by tomorrow but we need to take some reports from the people in Macedonia, our own security officers and the police.

"We are in constant touch with UEFA about the whole situation and the UEFA delegate who was here will have seen for himself how well the fans behaved. We don't want to spoil the good work that has been done over the last few games.

Following the excellent behaviour in last week's match against Serbia and Montenegro and pleas for more of the same against Slovakia, the fans responded excellently, leaving Barber delighted with their behaviour.

He added: "The fans appear to have heeded the warnings from UEFA. We were delighted with the fans' response, and the respectful silence during the Slovakian national anthem and applause at the end of it was the icing on the cake.

"But we can't be complacent, we understand the potential seriousness of the consequences if there is any trouble."

We will keep you updated with the situation regarding tickets for Macedonia...
