Sven and his England team unveiled their new Armani suits on Monday after The FA announced the Italian as designer for England's off-field wardrobe for the next three years. TheFA.com's Daniel Freedman was there and spoke to the man himself, Giorgio Armani, to see what he thought of the players in his designs.
"It's been a great day. All the players look excellent - things have gone very well," he said.
But, ever the perfectionist, Giorgio has seen some minor tweaks he would like to apply after lining-up with Sven, Becks, Michael, David, and Trevor for the photo-shoot launch.
"There are still a few small amendments that I would like to make but generally I am delighted with the way everyone looks.
"I have to admit I was a bit nervous myself, but now I am happy."
Giorgio has designed looks for both formal and casual occasions:
The formal Giorgio Armani look - a classic navy blue cotton/linen summer suit with two-button fastening and low-waisted flat-front trousers, paired with a pearl grey button-down cotton shirt and dark blue-grey iridescent silk tie. This combination comes with a navy knee-length light wool coat with asymmetrical five-button fastening.
The casual Giorgio Armani look - a navy cashmere cardigan-jacket with navy light crepe wool flat-front trousers, again low waisted. This is matched with a light blue cotton button down shirt and a fitted double-breasted eight-button belted overcoat in light cotton.
The outfits are accessorised with Emporio Armani sunglasses and watches, belts, shoes, underwear and luggage including a suitbag with wash bag and a trolley suitcase.
